Backyard feast preparation!?!


Question: Backyard feast preparation!!?
would it be considered cruel if a group of ladies get together and butcher up a pig for a feast!?
The pig would be around the 40kg in weight, not large but short with a big belly and very fat thighs & looks quite healthy!.

With all respect to all animals, the ladies have seen how it has been done by the use of a rifle but are planning to do without a rifle and only with the normal ropes and knives!.
what would be some good ways to carry this process out using these tools!?

I'd love to cook a whole spit roast pig-
The important thing is that the animal had a good life and you kill in a humain way with resect!.

Make sure you know what your doing regards to gutting, seriously dangerous bacteria can get in to the meat you will eat!.
Rub well with salt, enclose the belly part with lemons, thyme, salt and potatoes for flavour - stitch them in!.
Cut the skin to allow the crackling to be released after cooking and baste often!.
Make sure your pig is well cooked before eating!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
