How can you tell how many servings of fruit you get from things that have fruit along with other stuff?!
Like Raisin Bran!.!. Does it take 1 serving, or 2, to get a full serving of just fruits!? What about grape/strawberry jam!? There are alot of things that include fruits, but aren't just fruits!.!. It makes me confused when I'm trying to figure out my daily intakes of the food groups, how can I find out for foods like that!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eating at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruits each day may not be that hard to do when when you look at how small one serving really is:
1/2 cup of fruit
1 medium piece of fruit
1/4 cup of dried fruit
3/4 cup (6 ounces) of 100% fruit or vegetable juice
1 cup of leafy vegetables
1/2 cup of cooked or raw vegetables
Trying to visualize the serving sizes!? This may help:
1 medium apple or orange: the size of a tennis ball
1 cup vegetables or fruit: the size of a baseball
1 medium potato: the size of a computer mouse
1 cup of lettuce: 4 leaves
I don′t really think that jams or jellies would be able to count toward your daily servings!. There is an awful lot of sugar in them and you would have to eat alot of jam to get the necessary nutritionWww@FoodAQ@Com
