Answers:
wash out some pepsi bottles!.!.!.they store best!.
do "not" put the bleach in there until you are ready to use that stored water!. Buy an eyedropper and keep it near your bottled water (even tape it to the first bottle you plan to use)!. The clorox needs to be the unscentented and original kind!. I understand (but I'm not sure you'll have to recheck it) that you need 16 drops per gallon however remember that a pepsi bottle is "not" a gallon!. This is for EMERGENCIES only!. Nothing is fail safe, and clorox "may" not be the safest thing to drink or in large amounts, but it's the best thing we have at the moment (other than iodine I think they may use)!. You do not need 8 glasses of water a day, one glass or less will do, depending if your'e out in the sun!. It would be good if you could just buy bottled water from the stores for drinking!. The water you store would also be used to bathe in and for toileting (if you can still use your toilet in an emergency)!. I understand there are tablets you can buy to put into water to make it drinkable!. There are also water filters you can buy!.
If you're going to use that water for toileting you don't have to change it out every 6 months!.

Milk bottles and gallons of water in those thin plastic jugs you purchased from the store cannot be refilled with tap water or they will leak in a short period of time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's some info I found:

What are the best types of containers to use to store water!?

Use clean plastic or glass containers such as soft drink bottles or canning jars that have tight fitting screw caps!.
Do not use milk bottles - they do not seal well!.
Water containers should be disinfected before filling them with purified water the first time and disinfected again each time they are refilled!.

How do I disinfect a drinking water container!?
Containers can be purified either by using bleach as a chemical disinfectant or by boiling the container!.
Plastic containers cannot be boiled!.
Before using either method provided below to disinfect a container, wash the container thoroughly with soap and water, and rinse out the container with water!.

How do I use bleach to disinfect a water container!?
Pour a solution of 1 tablespoon of liquid household bleach to a gallon of water into the container!.
Let the solution remain in the container for 10 minutes, then pour out the solution!.
Rinse the container with purified water!. Pour out the rinse water!.
Fill the container again with purified water, then cap the container for later use!.
Use the stored water within six months!.

How do I boil a water container to disinfect it!?
You may boil glass bottles or jars to disinfect them!.
In a large pan submerge the glass bottle or jar in water!.
Bring to a rolling boil and then boil the container for 10 minutes!.
Fill the glass bottles and jars with purified water and cap the container for later use!.
Use the stored water within six months!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best kinds are glass water jugs!. Plastic, no matter how reassuringly food-grade, does not age well!. Constant use and washing will cause the molecules to break down and mix with your drinking water and that can be harmful!. Glass is your safest bet and all it needs is a quick rinse with dishwashing liquid and water!.

And for those times you need to tote water on the move, invest in a sleek little thermos!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
