Answers:
Iodized salt has an iodine taste!. The reason it was put in salt was to prevent goiter ( rare these days) but all brands have iodized and plain!. I always go for the plain!.
Now sea salt is a different story Fleur de Sel ( gray sea salt) is probably the best salt you can buy and about 50 times the price of regular salt!.
It's much better for you than regular salt!.
Similar to raw sugar is better for you then processed sugar( somewhat)!.
PLUS
It tastes so much better!.
Everyone should try Fleur De Sel( the "Beluga Caviar" of salts) at least once in their lifetime!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

all i know is that it's supposed to be healthier than the regular table salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Less sodium content and it tastes better when you cook with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's all natural!. Unlike other salts that are bleached!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lower sodium than table salt!. It keeps your cholesterol lower!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

redfeather,

That is a very good question!. Sea salt is so much healthier, more natural and better tasting!. You also need less of it!. Added iodine is not a good idea at all!. There are plenty of natural minerals in salt, which doesn't need embellishment!.

Try this if you eat chicken!. It's called Indian Chicken!.

Preheat oven to 375

Place a whole chicken in the center of a baking trey!. Form a heaping row of sea salt circling around the chicken, about an inch away from it!. That's it!

Bake until golden! You will be amazed, it tastes like you marinated and fussed over it for a day!.

Sincerely,

Ms!. Miche ; })Www@FoodAQ@Com
