15% of the total bill is standard, anything more is for better service!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
15% if it was OK service and 20%+ if it was VERY good service!. But, as the price tag gets larger, you need to use your common sense!. For example, if you got a 1,000 dollar dinner, you're not going to tip $200!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If the service was very good, I usually tip 20%!. If truly exception 25%!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say at least 20%, but you can always leave a little more!. Here is a link below, but use your own judgement!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Very good service should rate a 20 to 25% tip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If I got excellent service, I usually leave a 20% tip !.!.!. $50 = $10 tip, $60 = $12 tip, etc !.!.!.
But normally, I try to leave at least a 15% tip!. But if I get BAD service !.!.!. they should consider themselves lucky to even get a tip at all!.
I've been a waitress and I know how it is!. The tips reflect the type of service you provide and if I was crappy to the customers, I really didn't expect a good tip if any!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

15 to 20 % and More if you really enjoyed your service--remember Most waitress-waiter's make very Little they All depend on their TIPS and when I say they make small money its most time not over 2!.50$ hourWww@FoodAQ@Com
Between 10% and 20% and try the website I posted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
For very good service, we usually tip 30%!. Our regular tip is 20% for good service and just 15% for below average service!. Keep in mind that most servers rely on tips, so don't be stingy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I usually tip 15-20% but I was watching the PhantomGourmet the other day here in Boston, MA and they were saying that 20% is the new 15%!. A lot depends upon the type of service I receive and too, if I am a regular customer and always get the same waitstaff, I tend to tip a bit more - it insures better service the next time I visit!.

20% is a standard for good service!. I don't know your standards of good service!. For me,as a waitress, it's making sure my customers had what they wanted, that it didn't take forever, that it was correctly made and served and that I made myself available to you regularly without making myself a nuisance!. If you felt that the service was truly worth the extra compensation go up to 25-30%!. A really good tip let's a waitress know you appreciate the extra effort!. We don't expect it all the time, but it's always nice when it happens and makes me feel good about the level of effort I put into my job!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well i always tip the waiter that looked after me so he gets at least 30% for great service!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think most of you people ought to stay home!. Years back waiters/waitresses were paid $2!.01/hour!. I just checked a website and now they make between $3!.70-$4!.60 per hour!. contrast that to the federal minimum wage of $5!.85/hour!. The majority of you folks strike me as the type that is a server's nightmare!. Demanding, pains in the backside!.!. you want to make all kinds of substitutions to the menu, and when the gaals (or guys) go out for lunch you have the gall to ask for separate checks!. You blame your server for the food quality and pay no attention to the fact that the restaurant is bursting at the seams!. Now on top of this waiters/waitresses are charged income taxes on 8% of their total checks (the amount the restaurant patrons are billed) e!.g!. if the table's bill is $100 when they file their taxes 8% of each check is what they get taxed on not including their paychecks!. Now factor in the paychecks that range (40 hour week) from $148!.00-$186!.40 weekly before all the withholding taxes!. They are lucky to clear $100-$130 weekly!. The minimum wage person at McDonalds is making $234!.00/weekly (before deductions)with half the bull!. Now take the lot of you who mention "no tip" which is never acceptable!. Go to Europe and lots of the finer restaurants in this country where a 15% gratuity is automatically added to your check!. My son and I went out for a steak the other night!. Restaurant was packed but the waiter was quick and efficient!. The bill was $38!.66 and I gave the guy $48!.00 which is a bit over 25%!. I live in Florida and have gone out with many girls that work as waitresses and have lots of friends in the hospitality business!. They bust their humps to make people happy and then get nickeled and dimed to death by a bunch of MISERS who can barely afford to go to the restaurant and leave that big 10% tip!. Do everyone a favor and stay home and stiff the pizza guy!. Look in the mirror most of you lowballers are the same ignoramuses that sit there yakking away on your cell phones (feeling incredibly self important) and treat the servers like slaves and expect them to kiss your arses!. To all of you who believe 15% is the minimum and the maximum depends on many factors but is not capped at a number!. I have gone out in the past to a place I used to frequent!.!.!. the waitress took fewer tables so she could give extremely attentive service to me and she would routinely get 33-40% as a tip!. Let me conclude my rant with the following!.!.!.!. I tipped more than most of you people when I was in the Air Force making $375!.00/monthly!. My guess is the cheapos who have sounded off probably are the folks making 6 figures annually!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I tip anywhere from $5 to $10 dollars!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would say $10!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Anything more than $10 is a bit much!. If it like a $55!.00 bill I'll make it an even $62ish!. I always make it an even something though lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
