Having worked in frozen foods for the last 34 years , I can honestly tell you , if the chicken has remained frozen , constantly , for the 6 months , it will be safe too eat !. However !.!.!. [ I know , there always is a however ] !.!. after 2 months , the taste will aquire the smell of the freezerWww@FoodAQ@Com

Look at the experation date!. If there is not one just throw it away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're breastfeeding, don't even contemplate eating that!!!!

Frozen food is supposed to be eaten in 3 months!. You can still get away with longer period of time, it'll be edible, but the quality would've deteriorated considerably!.

In any case it is NOT worth the risk of making yourself sick and having to stop breastfeeding or even making your baby sick through your milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

6 months at best! anything longer than that is suspect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the only thing you need to worry about is the fat content of the chicken souring the meat , which means poultry can actually go bad in the freezer , you'll notice a good case of frezer burn 1st of course + you would have tasted that for sure , do not worry you'll be fine , 6 months to 1 year depending on packaging for poultry has worked fine for me , the USDA guidelines are a little strict but they do helpWww@FoodAQ@Com
