Tuna on salad - help!?!


Question: Tuna on salad - help!!?
I have some canned tuna and lettuce mix and I was wondering what dressing would go best with that!. Or is it too gross LOL!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its not gross, I do that on occassion!. I've tried multiple dressings and I've found that the best dressings that go with it are oil based (Italian Dressing, Red Wine Vinagrette)!. If you are going to use an oil based dressing, do not add mayonaise to the tuna before you put it on the salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ranch dressing it tastes sooo yummy! or you can even add miracle whip if you have some and make tuna salad then add the tuna to the lettuce mix with some tomatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A simple vinaigrette, 1 part of vinegar to 4 of oil (olive is best)and salt and pepper!. You can add dried mixed herbs if you want too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
