THE BEST SALAD DRESSING IN THE WORLD AND MY FAVOURITE TOO FRIEND
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar (the black stuff - not the stuff you bung on your chips)
Runny honey
French mustard
Garlic
Lemon juice (optional)
Tabasco (optional)
Salt & pepper (optional)
In a small jar (ideally with a lid) mix good quality olive oil with balsamic vinegar in the ration of 3 parts olive oil to 1 part balsamic vinegar!. A total of three to four cms in the bottom of a cleaned out jam jar should be plenty!.
Add a big clove of very finely chopped garlic!. A teaspoon of runny honey!. A teaspoon of french mustard!. A good squeeze of lemon juice!. A pinch of salt & pepper!. A few of drips of Tabasco!.
Shake like hell and carry on shaking the jar from time to time!. You’ll end up with a thick black liquid that tastes delicious!. Wait until the last moment before you dress any salad that you’re being made to eat!.
This stuff is also excellent as a dressing for avocados (if you can ever find one that’s ripe)!. It’ll also keep for up to a week in a fridge!.
Initiates to this salad dressing recipe have crawled up on their hands and knees to kiss our feet in gratitude!. It’s so good you’ll end up slurping spoonfuls from the jar - which will make you feel a bit woozy when you’ve overdone it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
