Ditch the control-freak!.
You can use whatever you want!.
Don't microwave with aluminum foil or plasitc wrap, tho!. Cover it with paper or waxed paper!. or GlassWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think he is confusing tin foil with tinned food(opened) when opening a can of somthing you should always decant it into a container to store because the can give of a tinny taste to the food!. I dont think tin foil has the same effect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Acidic foods, like tomatoes, can actually eat through tin foil due to a chemical reaction!. Foil is fine for non-acidic foods; some people even wrap their sandwiches in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

iv used it in the fridge for 20 years lol, and whoooooo im still here and fit and healthy, in fact my salad has been in the fridge all day wrapped in it so hes talking out of his asse , is that what mummy told him , is he a mummys boy lol awwww he wants his mummy lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

I use both depending on what the food is!. Clingfilm (as you Brits call it) really sticks to food and I have heard it isn't great for you!. No plastic is good touching food!. Plastics are just a bunch of chemicals after all and they cause cancer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Never heard of that I don't like using clingfilm it's not good for you, years ago there was a cancer scare linked to clingfilm!.
I always use tinfoil in or out of the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Aluminum foil does NOT have any detrimental side effects on food while being stored in the refrigerator!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

It's very dangerous!. If the next person failes to take precations next time they open the 'fridge door, the 'fridge light can reflect from the tinfoil and blind them*!.

Just because HIS mommy always used plastic wrap doesn't mean that it's the ONLY way to do things! !.!.!. If this is a long-term relationship, you may be dealing with other "mommy" issues laterWww@FoodAQ@Com
