one time we had to get a catfish from the sink and crack it's skull(but it's still alive!) before removing it's insides!. That is one of the most frightening days of my life!. I mean catfish is not weird but if you get to kill them and see the hearts still beating!. that is some scary weird fish!. The fish just won't die no matter what i did!.

Well, my ex-husbands cousin and his wife who was from Tiawan, lived with us for a few months, and I was very interested in her culture and asked many questions!.!. apparently a delicacy over there is eating monkey brains right out of the head of a monkey!.!.!.!.!.!.!. YUCK!.!. but apparently true!.!. and that my friend is the worst thing Ive ever heard of!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I saw lots of "things" in jars in China to be consumed for medicinal purposes!. Baby deer, foetuses of other animals!.!.well if I understood Chinese maybe I would know what they were!.
I brought back a pack of crushed pearls to mix with !? Apparently those were supposed to be good for the skin etc but I haven't tried!.
I suppose what is unusual for other people would not be for others and vice versa!.
Kangooroo, deer, snake, mutton brains, beef tongue, raw meat (although not very healthy nowadays), tripes!.!.!.
I would like to see and taste the egg embryo that one poster mentioned in one of Suzie' post!.!.!.

oh! I heard that some people in Chinese even eat the human baby embryo or a newly-born baby, they cook it with Chinese herbs or things like that!! Ewww!
