Answers:
Most cucumbers found in supermarkets have endured a journey of hundreds of miles from where they were grown!. To keep them from drying out on their long trip, their skins are usually waxed!. These farm-fresh cucumbers dehydrate faster than the waxy kind, so be sure to get them into the refrigerator right away!. If you store unwashed cucumbers in a sealed plastic bag in the vegetable crisper bin, they willll hold for at least a week!. Keep cucumbers tucked far away from tomatoes, apples, and citrus which give off ethylene gas that accelerates cucumber deterioration!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well of course it will always be best when fresh! The sooner you eat it after being picked the better it will be!. But if I have to store them for any length of time I always put them in a zip top bag with wadded up paper toweling!. The toweling wicks the moisture away from the cucumber!Www@FoodAQ@Com

In a plastic bag which should be stored in the refrigerator!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How big is your cucumber!? I like a big one!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
