I crave chocolate all the time every day. is the caffeine that's making me do this?!
Answers:
~*~No chocolate does not have very much caffeine!. It could be the sugar your body is craving or even a mineral that chocolate contains like magnesium!. Try having some protein in your breakfast so that you feel full and satisfied longer, this could help with the sugar craving!.

Could be a few things!.
Chocolate does contain caffeine, which your body can definitely crave, but it also contains other ingredients that have physical effects on your body!. For example, the melting point of chocolate is below your body temperature, so the act of melting chocolate in your mouth can send your brain the same kind of pleasure signals that kissing does!. There are also scientific studies that hypothesize that chocolate creates the same stimulus in your body as sex (yes, sometimes chocolate IS better than sex!) ; )Www@FoodAQ@Com

its more likely that you have a sweet tooth, so keep dried fruit around to take care of that!. if its really the caffeine, maybe keep some tea bags around for that!.
of course, we are ignoring the fact that chocolate is positively delicious!. i know i couldn't resist a brownie and a latte if you stuck it right on my desk and dared me not to eat it!.
good luck fighting the chocolate monster within you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I had this too!. For me it went away (quite by accident - as a side effect) when I was treated for depression!. Evidently my body was trying to make up for a serotonin imbalance and I craved chocolate and sweets all my life until I was treated!.
I still drink coffee and, since treatment, have had no more cravings!. So for me, there is no relation between caffeine and chocolate craving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No choc contains a small amount of caffeine in its self!.
Having cravings for choc is induced by STRESS!!!
AND SOME BODY CHEMISTRY'S!!!!
You can not control this but you can control the amount you consume!.
After eating choc the brain releases endorphins to make you feel good!.
Choc triggers a good feeling chemical that's why we all love to eat this kind of sweets!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's more than just the caffiene, there's also the sugar spike (which makes you crave more sugar) and another chemical element that is also addictive!. Eating chocolate releases endorphins (the "happy hormone") in the body that make you feel "up" and cheerful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Your body may be trying to tell you that you are lacking magnesium!.
This is possibly because chocolate contains magnesium, a shortage of which can exacerbate pre-menstrual tension!. Similar cravings during pregnancy could indicate mild anaemia, which chocolate's iron content may help to cure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chocolate contains the chemical Tryptophan, the brain uses this chemical to create the neurotransmitter Serotonin!. The Serotonin makes you feel good!.
Another chemical found in chocolate is Phenylethylamine!. This works on the brain's pleasure centres and reaches peak levels
