Eggs do not need refrigeration except in hot climates!. They just need a constant temperature!. Fridge doors are frequently opened and closed!. Eggs can also take on smells from other foods in the fridge!. I usually keep mine in the cupboard where I store dried foods ie pasta etc and they are always fine!.
Best before dates are very conservative!. As long as they have been kept well they should be okay for longer!. Just test them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, the best before date is on the box and stays the same as they expect you to refrigerate as soon a you take home!.
