Different Bacon Cuts?!


Question: Different Bacon Cuts!?
In the States, the bacon is thin, and has many fat layers in them!. In Britain, the bacon has almost no fat, is much thicker, doesn't even taste the same, and reminds me more of a thin cut of pork loin!.

What are the differences between these two types of bacon!? Are they made from the same cut of meat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

In the states you can get leaner and thicker cut bacon, it costs more and is called slab bacon!. It's basically from the same area on the pig!. It's the difference in the quality of the cut!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
