If whole fish is listed as "dressed" does that mean it has been descaled?!

Question: If whole fish is listed as "dressed" does that mean it has been descaled!?
Or just that the innards have been removed!?

ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Both!. The fish is descaled and the entrails removed!. Below, dressed and drawn fish are described!.

Drawn Fish: Entrails, gills and scales removed!. Since entrails cause rapid spoilage, drawn fish have a longer storage life!.

Dressed Fish: Completely cleaned but with head on (head removed is usually called pan-dressed)!. Both forms are ready for stuffing and are generally cooked in one piece!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
