Where can I buy colored table salt?!
I need salt that is colored, so I can see how much I put on my food, so I can control my salt intake!. I found this website: http://www!.margaritasalt!.com/colored_tab!.!.!. but it seems to be defunct!. Help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure where you could buy colored salt but I have made some with food coloring!. All you would do is get regular table salt and stir in a few drops of food coloring!. Make sure that you keep stirring the salt or it could become clumped around the food coloring!. If it does become clumped just continue to add more salt!. I've done this a few times and only had a problem once when I put in too much food coloring!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Over the years, we have received many other suggestions that we market "colored salt!." However, to date, all of our research into colored salt has shown that the vast majority of salt users prefer a pure, white product!. This is the principal reason we have not marketed such a product!.
