What is Marmite?!

Question: What is Marmite!?
Answers:
Yeast extract!. It's a dark brown spread, that looks a bit like dark chocolate spread, but tastes very salty and (in my opinion) delicious!. However most Brits grow up with it!.

Marmite is full of B vitamins, and can be used as a thin spread on toast, or stirred into hot water to make a drink (either of those is very good for someone who's had a stomach upset)!. It goes well with cheese, or with peanut butter, or with lettuce in sandwiches, and it's a healthy substitute for a stock (bouillon) cube!.

However, although it's eaten in almost every country in the world, it's not easily available in the USA, and most Americans don't like it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

as someone said, a yeast extract with a savory taste, usually spread on bread!. It should be be spread fairly thin!.

It is popular in Britain!. There is a related product, Vegemite, available in Australia!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
