Depends on what you're doing with them!. I raise my own grapes, different varieties of green, red and purple!. The darker the grape, the more grapey, they taste!. This is due to the amount of tannins in the grapes skin!. Green grapes tend to be very mild flavored compared to the darker ones!.
This is really noticeable when making jam or jelly!. Darker colored grapes will have the strong tannic "Welchs" grape aroma and flavor while green grapes yield a milder almost apple-like flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It all depends on what type of flavor you like!. If youm like tart-sweet, go with green!. If you like really sweet ones, go with red!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
