Is it ok to eat crawfish and lobster after 4 or 5 hours?!

Question: Is it ok to eat crawfish and lobster after 4 or 5 hours!?
My friend has a bad craving for crawfish and lobster from this restaurant down here and i'm visiting for the weekend and was thinking about buying some before i drive up!. The drive is about 4-5 hours so the crawfish and lobster would be sitting in a box in my trunk for the whole drive before she gets to eat it!. Will it still be ok to eat or is that too long!? I'll be driving after work, so my drive time is approximately 6pm-11pmWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Call the restaurant, tell them what you want to do and let them come up with a solution!. It may be possible for them to cook it, freeze it and package it up in ice for you, most likely for a fee, but you would be able to get it home without the risk of food poisoning!. Be sure to call well in advance!. Good luck have a good weekend!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pack it in ice & make sure it stays frozen, even if you have to stop and ice it down again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should put it in a cooler with ice!. it would only stay good for about an hour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
