I can spend anywhere from 200 every 2-3 weeks to 200 every week, mostly if I am spending time at home and buying already made food or food in bulk!. best thing to do is spend aobut 2-300 a month in your "dry" groceries at a discount/bulk place (costco, sams, aafes) and then you will be spending about 75 a week on fruits, veggies, milk and anything else that spoilsWww@FoodAQ@Com
That's high for one person, but it's hard to get motivated to cook when you're alone and busy!. My husband is away for 10 days and I'm eating lunch out with lady friends, taking my grown children to dinner, etc!. and not really making an effort!. When he's home and I'm cooking every day I can usually get by for $150 for both of us, my dinner is planned around meat that's on sale that week, lunches are leftovers, breakfast cereal/muffins and fruit!. When we have company I can spend over $100 for food/wine for just one meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
