Does anyone remember these puddings?!
They came in a little can with a lid you could pull of!. What happened to those!? Can they still be bought!? They used to be such a treat as a kid!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They probably aren't as good as you remember, plastic makes things taste funny sometimes and most companies have changed their recipes to cut corners and increase their profits by using inferior/cheaper ingredients!. Sad but true!.
Have you ever bought the 'cook and serve' style of dry boxed pudding mix !?(I use Jello brand)
You add your own fresh milk and cook it on the stove- stir the entire time, this is important for smoothness and so that it doesn't stick!- it is SO worth the small amount of time and trouble!. The taste is incredible!. Real Pudding!
If you do try some, put a piece of saran wrap right on the surface of the pudding while it's cooling in the 'fridge-so it doesn't get a "skin" on top!. It's edible, of course, but better without it!.
