Question: What's the most disappointed meal u ever had at ur friends' house!?
well!.!. i have 2 stories to tell!.

when i was in college!. there was this girl named Amy who was always bragging that she was a great cook!.
one day she invited me and my best friend for a dinner!.
we were so excited that we really thought she was goin to make a wonderful dinner for us!.
WRONG!
she just cooked pasta and then put Prego sauce on top of the pasta!.
Plus she baked frozen garlic bread in the oven!.
that's it!.

the other story is back in last May!.
me and my friends met this guy at a bar and yes he said he was a good cook!.
he invited us for dinner at his home and promised us to cook something nice for us!.
WRONG!
all her served was baked ham, boiled broccoli ( soggy), and cooked frozen mixed vegetables and water!.
no appetizer, no dessert, no wine, nothing!

it amuze me that some ppl think they are good cook when all they can do is to bake ham and heat pasta sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a personal chef!. My husband and I were invited to the home of a dear friend and her new husband--who we had been told was an excellent cook!. They were in their new home and we brought food related house warming gifts!. He insisted in staying in the kitchen because he had to see to ALL of the food instead of having cocktails with the three of us, so we thought it was going to be a very interesting meal!.

After quite a long time he announced dinner!. We were seated and there was nothing on the plate but a gelatinous mixture of barely identifiable food!. When I said it was interesting, he said!.!.well you can't expect gourmet food from a bag!. He had made dinner from a frozen food combination!. We thought his poor wife was going under the table!.

Five months later, we moved into our new home and had a house warming!.!.food and drinks for all of our friends!.!.no gifts!. When they arrived, he said immediately that they had not brought anything because they had already treated us to dinner! I felt so sorry for his wife!. They are now divorced and we have a great time with the wife again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a chef at a really nice restaurant and one of my friends invited me over for dinner!. Now being a chef, I don't get too many nights off and I was expecting something nice!. When I got there, they had made a hot dog and bean soup and served slices of white sandwich bread to go along with it!. The hot dogs were the cheapest that money could buy and the soup itself was way over salted and the beans were more part of the liquid in the soup!. I was still nice about it and ate it because they tried!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
