Question: Have you ever wondered why fresh peas and canned peas look and taste so different!?

Fresh peas are bright green and crisp, while can peas are light green and soft!.

1!.- The heat used to in the canning process to sterilize the contents!.

2!.- The preservatives (and God know what else) they add to the peas water!.

3!.- The fact that the peas are in water for weeks which is not natural for a vegetable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

High heat is necessary to preserve things when they're canned!. If you overcook ANY peas, they'll turn that nasty, olive green color, with the mushy consistency and tasteWww@FoodAQ@Com

well because they put preservatives in canned peas which are unhealthyWww@FoodAQ@Com

yeah all that crap they add 2 the canned food changes the appearance!Www@FoodAQ@Com
