Good quality hot dogs?!
I used to love hotdogs when I was younger!. I still think that they smell delicious!. However many years back I learned what they were made out of (or used to be) and ended my hotdog eating days!. I'd love to have a hotdog but don't want to eat one that is filled with crap and odds and ends (if you get what I mean)!. Any suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are many really good vegetarian/vegan hot dogs out there!. I know it probably doesn't sound good, but I like them better than meat-based hotdogs!. They are healthier and much cleaner than regular hotdogs!. I wouldn't touch a normal hotdog unless it had a condom on it!.
If you really want a meat hotdog, I would look for any that are uncured!. They don't contain nitrates/nitrites, which have been linked to certain cancers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best quality hot dogs are Hebrew National Kosher Hot Dogs and Vienna All Beef Hot Dogs - both brands are all beef and only use the finest cuts of beef no odds and ends and innards!. Don't go for veggie dogs, turkey dogs, tofu dogs, chicken dogs, cheap dogs or any other of the other hot dog pretenders that are out there - they are nasty tasting and feel mealy and mushy in your mouth when you eat them!.

The only hot dogs I have found that are good, and made with quality beef (not ends) are the ones made by Hebrew National!. They are a kosher beef dog, and you can get them in reduced fat, polish, and extra large quarter-pound!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No way don't even touch one of those mechanically retrieved meat things!! They're all the same!.
I too went off them when I found out how they were made but I too adore the smell of them but just can't bring myself to eat them anymore as i'd gag and throw it back up!!

i don't think there is good quality hot dogs unless u choose what kind of meat you want them made of and tell the butcher to make them from it i have never done that i don't know if it would work !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think hot dogs are as bad as 'scrapple,' (which is actually pretty darn tasty!) All hot dogs have fillers I think, but maybe Hebrew Nat'l kosher would be your best bet!. Personally, I like Oscar Meyer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
