How do you make a dipped cone?!
I need to know how to make a dipped cone that is as much like the ones at Dairy Queen as possible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips with a teaspoon of crisco in the microwave slowly!. This makes the chocolate into dipping consistency so that when it hardens it wont crack!. Hold your cone by the point and dip the top then you can dip into crunchies or nuts or coconut or whatever if you want (I never had a dipped cone @ DQ so I dont know whats on them)!. Place the cone after dipping on a plate lined with wax paper and put in the fridge several minutes till it firms up!. FYI: you can dip anything in chocolate prepared this way!.!.!.!.!.fruit, cookies, marshmallows, pretzels!. also, it makes a great simple dessert fondue when you have company if you add a teaspoon of extract or liqueur to it and put it in a little bowl surrounded by dippers on a platter!. :))Www@FoodAQ@Com
5 tablespoons/a few tablespoons of margarine or butter
4 tablespoons/a few spoonfuls of chocolate milk powder mix
StepsMelt a few tablespoons of margarine in a saucepan or microwave (you can try butter, but margarine tastes better)!. Quantities can vary depending on how much you want, but there should be generally less chocolate mix!. 5 tablespoons of margarine and and 4 of chocolate should work!.
Make sure that the margarine is still hot as you stir in a few spoonfuls of chocolate milk powder mix (Hershey's or Nestle's Quick)
Pour over ice cream!. The chocolate will soon harden!.
You can also use melted copha and drinking chocolate!.

You could just buy the "Smucker's Magic Shell" chocolate!. It works the same exact way and freezes really fast!.
It comes with a little squirt top so it's not that messy either!.
You can find it in a grocery store (A&P, Shopright etc!.!.!.)!.
