Yes, I love hot fudge!. the directions say: "Take lid off and place in microwave for 1 minute"!. So yes, it is safe, just make sure the lids off and dont let it get too hot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alternately, you can dip the jar into hot water and heat it gradually!.

Most glass jars are not supposed to be microwaved!. There are certain ones (like the CheezeWhiz jars) that are okay to place inthe microwave and they say that on the jar or label!. If the jar doesn't specifically say "microwave safe", then don't risk it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I wouldn't risk it!. Foods high in fat tend to heat up very quickly in the microwave, and you wouldn't want to ruin your yummy fudge with a bunch of glass shards!.

I think it'd be ok but definitely have the lid like slanted so it lets out some of the steam!. I prefer to go in thick plastic whe nI can though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
