What is the best tasting flour?!

Question: What is the best tasting flour!?
It seems like anything can be made into flour by being dried and ground: nuts, certain fruits, grains, and probably lots and lots of other things!.

Which one tastes the best!? Is wheat bread so widely used because it tastes the best (or is it just tradition!?)!? I know with things like xanthan gum, in place of gluten, breads and etc can be made!. (I can't eat wheat, rye, barley!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Wheat makes the best bread, as its high gluten levels give it good handling and rising!.

I can't eat gluten either!. I usually use a blend of white rice and sweet rice flour!. It works fine for some things, but not for others!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, I have always used the regular white flour to make a gravy for the stew or any type of gravy!. I add sugar and pepper to the gravey!. I but my bread at the grocery store and buy this new kind of dark brown bread called Pumpernickel and Dark Pump! It is very good! I always purchase a loaf of Perridge Farm of the traditional white bread with Cinnamon and Raisins in it too!. I know some people who make their own bread in this great new bread machines!. I might try!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I personally prefer King Arther "whole white wheat" flour (available at Kroger)!. It's whole wheat, and it's white - best of both worlds! Be sure to always use a touch of sugar/honey when you use this flour, to bring out the rich flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wheat is the best plus 7-grain bread, so is rye, and barley, its a shame that you can't eat the good stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
