Is there a difference between freezing or refrigerating lasagna overnight?!

Question: Is there a difference between freezing or refrigerating lasagna overnight!?
My sister and her husband are coming back in town from his mother's funeral and they are coming home to three children under five!. I am making them a tray of lasagna the night before they get back so they don't have to worry about dinner when they return!. If it's only being left for less than 24 hours, does it make a difference if I refrigerate or freeze it!? also, is it ok to put it straight from the oven into the freezer or fridge, or should I let it sit out awhile!? If frozen, how long would you think to reheat in the oven!? It will be made in a 9x13!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If it is going to be 24 hours I would refrigerate it!. Will take less time to reheat!. It will take much longer for them to cook from frozen!. You could leave a note the if they don't eat it the lasagna that day they might want to freeze it!.
Rather than cooking it yourself just bring it over unbaked that way they can cook it when they want!. If you want to bake it refrigerate fairly soon after you take it from the oven, within 30 minutes!.
If you do bring it over frozen it will take over an hour to cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd just refrigerate it, it will be fine!. If it's in a glass baking dish, you might want to let it sit out for about 30 minutes before placing it in a hot oven!. I don't think it would crack the glass, but better to be safe!. If it's in a metal pan, straight to the oven is fine!.

Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law's mother!. (((hugs)))Www@FoodAQ@Com

It won't matter if you refrigerate or freeze it!. If you do freeze it, you can put it straight into the oven!.!.!.it will just take longer to heat through!. You may want to put foil over it so that the top doesn't overbake and then take it off for the last 15 minutes!.
You are a very nice sister to take care of your family like that!Www@FoodAQ@Com

refrigerate it, if you freeze it you will need to unthaw it, it gets wet, and isn't as good as if you just put it in the fridge!.
don't forget some nice white or black truffle oil,too!.!.!.!.
but that's just me (it IS good, though)

oh yeah, and some parmesan to sprinkle on top when you serve
my condolensces,too for their lossWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'd just refrigerate it !.!.!. Freezing it isn't necessary, and would just mean thawing it out - and the sauce gets watery sometimes when you freeze itWww@FoodAQ@Com
