Question: Is it true you can get damaged from eating too much pineapple!?
A friend told me it can damage the inside of your mouth or something!.!.!. Anyone heard of this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pineapple is quite acidic and can irritate ulcers or skin abrasions in the mouth!.
Excesses - i mean if you eat several at a time could cause tooth enamel damage!.
But a few slices or a tin a day would be fine and healthy!.
Pineapple is actualy a superfood - great vitamins, minerals and dietry benefits!.
But if it irritated your mouth then leave for a few days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

clean the pineapple properly, do not eat very large quantities!. that is because of the acidity which could irritate your inner tissue of the mouth!.
you would have to eat a lot of it though!.
also in a healthy diet variety is crucial to ensure you get everything you need!.

Pineapples are very heaty!. Therefore they can increase the heat levels in the body!. This results in getting heat bubbles in the mouth and cause breakage of lip tissue!. Thats ONLY if you eat large quantities though!. I love pineapples and i dont care about these!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
