Question: Grocery store return policy - restock merchandise!?
If a local grocery store (part of a national chain) accepts a return on a customer from say, a dairy product or other perishable type product, will they usually place that returned item back on the shelf!? Or do they toss it away!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!.!.!.!.any food item no matter what it is gum, canned food, bread, etc!. will be thrown away!. That is the policy here at H-E-B (a large supermarket here in Austin, Tx)Www@FoodAQ@Com
