Cereal for breakfast?!
I give my son Coco pop and warm milk every morning for breakfast!. Is this a healty breakfast or should I be giving him something else!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

once in a while would be no biggie but every morning is not good its alot of sugar plus who wants to eat the same thing every morning why not switch it up a bit some healthy cereals and yougurt or some oatmeal some toast maybe if you have the time in the morning some eggs heres some quick tips for healthy breakfasts
Fruit and Cheese

NO! Avoid Processed Cereals and Meats and Eggs for breakfast!.
Better go for natural grains, wheata-bix, oati-bix, shreddies, porridge or museli - but not the mini's as they have added salt and sugar!.

Coco pops have a lot of sugar but it is great to see that you are looking into other options and caring for your son's wellbeing! He'll have a sugar crash early in the day with a lot of those cereals that are marketed to kids!. Something with protein would be better!. Or at least some complex carbohydrates!. Here are some other options!.
Cereal that is high fiber and high protein -- any kashi brand cereal would be a serious improvement!.

an egg with some multigrain toast (eggs are a healthy whole food / a great source of protein)

Since what you're giving him doesn't have fiber and does have sugar, maybe you can ease him into a healthier breakfast if cereal is something he really likes!. You could try switching to a high fiber cereal that also has some sweetness to it, and later, wean him off sugar as you go!.
Fiber One Caramel Delight is really good and pretty high in fiber (9 grams per serving vs 0 grams in the coco pops)!. It has sugar, but not as much as the cereal he's currently eating!.

Porridge - always kept me full til lunchtime!. if he really likes chocolate you can add cocoa powder to the milk while your heating it, or you could melt some real chocolate and pour it over the porridge once it is made!. Or for a healthier option you could add some fruit to it!.

Send him of to school full of sugar!. Not a good idear!. Weetabix with yogurt and fruit, toast marmite and yogurt,or try cornflakes with raisins and milk (full fat for under 5's)!. The chocolate based cereal are so high in sugars and not a loot else!. A cooked breakfast once a week is also good for young children!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's not good at all!. Coco pops are all sugar!. Some good things to give him for breakfast!.!.eggs and toast, peanut butter on whole wheat toast, oatmeal, grits, or cream of wheat(farina) with some fruit and a glass of milk!.

Coco Pops have too much sugar; it's also fattening!. You should give him oatmeal with honey, it's healthier and, to me, it tastes a lot better!. =) That doesn't mean your son can't ever have Coco Pops again, you could give it to him every once-in-a-while!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
This is not the healthiest option but if he is still young he is going to want something sweet!.

I believe Multi-grain Cheerios could be the answer you're looking for!. They're great for you, and they've got a sweet coating on them that will satisfy the little ones!. My daughter LOVES them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's a good breakfast it is full of iron and vits!. It will give him plenty of energy get the brain working on full!. also whats good is omega vits to for keeping the brain alert!.
