Question: How do I keep apples fresh after I slice them!?
Everytime I cut apples up and give them to my kids they turn brown!. I want to be able to send them to school and bring some to work!. How can I keep them from turning brown!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can purchase an item called Fruit Fresh at your local supermarket or simply dip the apples in lemon or pineapple juice!. The acid in these fruits slows the browning process in the apples and adds another level of flavor to the apple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are cooking put them in salt water until you have prepared all of them!.

Not sure about how to do it for lunch once they have been sliced!. The air gets in and they go brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dip them in a salt water bath!.
