MARINARA SAUCE
30-35 fresh roma tomato
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon oregano
1/4 cup sugar
4 garlic clove, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
salt and pepper
--Blanch and peel the tomatoes!. With a blender, blend the tomatoes on a low setting for a couple of seconds Set the tomato puree aside!. In a large sauce pan heat the oil!. Add the onions and garlic, sauté until limp!. Add the tomato puree, basil, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper!. Bring the sauce to a boil, then simmer for about 2 hours!. You can add any other ingredients for a custom pasta sauce at this point!.

My nan used to make this stuff that tasted lovely we just called it nan's special!.

put the tomatoes in a frying panand heat them up till they are sizzling turn the heat down and add 1 or 2 beef oxo's or beef stock if you live abroad i don't know if you have oxo, wait till it turns brown it will look horrid but it taste gorgeous!.

Then add grated cheese as much as you want it depends on your taste buds then eat it with some bread or ciabata bread it is yummy and only has the calories of the cheese, its a great and easy snack and takes next to no time to do, we used tin tomatoes but fresh tomatoes will do the same thing!.

can them!.!.!. it`s very easy!.!.!.!. plunge them in boiling water for a few minutes the skins will crack!.!. then peel them cut them up and put in dutch oven (very large sauce pan)!.!.!. add salt and onion and cook them for about an hour or less!.!.!. use canning lids and quart jars!.!. put hot tomato in jars put lid on and ring tightly let set it will seal!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut them in half, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and italian bread crumbs and broil them for a minute!.

oven dry them for a couple of hours on a low heat and preserve them for use in salads and anywhere you want a rich tomato flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use them to make spaghetti sauce, lasagna, and pasta sauces!., then freeze them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
