i dont know what to have out for snacks besides chips and candy!. please give me some suggestions

Bumps on a log!. Wash and cut celery into 3" (7-8cm) lengths!. Don't split it, though; leave the groove intact!. Mix a little margarine into some peanut butter -- start with a cup of pb and 1/4 cup margarine and make more as you need it -- and spread that in the grooves of your celery pieces!. Dot with raisins!.
These are fun, salty, crunchy, and mildly sweet!. They're also slightly good for you, but not too much!. They keep well, and don't require refrigeration or heating up!. They're a good make-ahead snack!.
You may also want to have a veggie tray!. You can purchase one, or you can put it together yourself!. Have two or three dips (including the "lightened" peanut butter -- mixing the margarine into it lightens the texture and makes it more like a dip) available!.
Pita bread cut into triangles with cheese or hummus available is also good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
