Quick question about a homemade cake..?!
I made a 13 x 9 cake earlier for my daughter!. I stuck it in the refridarator to cool before frosting, but I had to run out for a while!.!.!. When I returned, the cake was a little hard around the corners!.!.!. I've frosted it, and put my cake pan cover over top of it!. We won't be eating it until around 5pm!.
So!.!.!.!. should I put it back in the fridge!? Or leave it out on the counter!? Either way, the top is now on!. Thanks all!!! Enjoy your weekend!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't put it back in the fridge!. That's why it turned hard!. You should have just left it on the counter to cool!. Just keep it on the counter and maybe it will soften up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends how hot it is in your kitchen! If you cover it and leave it somewhere cool and dry it should be ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
