Question: Why does ice cream get a yucky taste in the freezer!?
Is something wrong with my freezer!? Should I adjust the temperature!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It absorbs all of the flavors and odors of the other foods in the freezer!. They make an airtight plastic container, especially for ice cream, works like a charm!. The ice cream has only a cardboard box, not airtight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your ice cream is not half-thawed, it's not a temperature issue!. But you can always get a thermometer and see what the temperature is if youre curious!.

Clean out your freezer!. 90% chance that's your problem!. If not, you could get a technician in to check it out, or you could get one of those plastic ice cream storage boxes to keep it in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Could be a couple of different of reasons,
1!. Temperature could be either too high or too low!. Too high will result in freezer burn which is gross!.
2!. Possible odors from other foods, just put in some baking soda, that might help!. Arm and Hammer actually make a box for the fridge & freezer, it has a side panel that allows odors to go through!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think something is good because it doesnt taste good to but yet again we can have different opinions on whats luckyWww@FoodAQ@Com

maybe your freezer is up too high, and its frostbite!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
