What is healthier meat or peanutbutter?!
My son will not eat meat but he loves peanutbutter!. Is that OK!? Will he get the nutrients from the peanutbutter as he would for the meat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on who you ask!. Personally, I say it's great!. Peanut butter will get him the protein he needs while not giving him the cholesterol and stuff that meat can give him!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It depends on the type of meat, like red meat!? white meat!? red meat like beef, pork chops, ribs, are unhleahthy!. White meat like chicken, is healthy, but either way!. Penut butter over red meat, is a better choice, but penut butter over white meat, isnt good!. Penut butter isnt necessarily healthy, its loaded with fat, and although its the good fat, if he eats too much of it, that wont be good!.
Meat also has iron, something penut butter doesnt have, and we NEED iron to function properly!. So if hes just doing penut butter, he should be taking vitamins, to get the nutrients he needs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

He also gets a lot of fat - so to make pb better in comparison with meat, you'd have to choose the pork-rib with the rind still on !.!. It's the bit they make bacon of!.
Pb-fat is vegetable fat, and therefore more healthy than same-amount animal-fat!.
But compared to steak, hamburger, chicken (even with the skin still on), pb actually looses out, because of the fat content!.
Give it to him on wholewheatbread, and choose banana or fresh fruit, rather than jelly!.
