Question: Why do some people grind their own peppercorns instead of just buying ground pepper!?

Ground pepper loses its fragrance once it is out of the seed!. When you still have the seed and grind it, you get more fragrance and it tastes better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fresh ground is the only way to go!. So much more flavour! Another tip for even more flavour out of your peppercorns is to toast them before you grind them!. This wakes up the oils and makes the pepper so fragrant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
