Where can I buy a pumpkin in May?!

Question: Where can I buy a pumpkin in May!?
I am looking for a pumpkin -- actually the stem!. I know, it's very weird!. It does not have to be the stem from a ripe pumpkin, but the stem needs to be somewhat fresh!. I live in Texas, and I have no idea where to find one in May!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I do not believe that you can get one because pumpkins are seasonal and their growing season starts in May or June and they come into fruition in the fall around Halloween!. I would suggest that you look up companies who make pumpkin products and see if you can get a stem that way!. Some foreign countries have growing seasons that are opposite ours!. Good luck in your pursuit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

May be a bit tricky but if you can wait about 5 months you will be in luck!.
Not sure what you need it for but if a fake one would work try your local craft stores and if you don't see any out ask someone if they have any in the back!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

all supermarkets sell canned pumpkin, in the canned fruit section, and it's as good as fresh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it is a Fall crop - so it would need to be imported from the Southern Hemisphere!. Find a friend in Australia or South Africa!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
