Vitamin K is good for the blood for clotting purposes
it found naturally in leafy green vegetables, particularly the dark green ones such as spinach and kale; parsley and cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussel sprouts
also high in Vitamin K as are some fruits such as avocado and kiwi fruit
people who are on anticoagulants- have to watch their dietary intake of Vitamin K which counteracts the medicinal purpose of the medicationWww@FoodAQ@Com

Vitamin K (K from "Koagulations-Vitamin" in German and Danish) denotes a group of lipophilic, hydrophobic vitamins that are needed for the posttranslational modification of certain proteins, mostly required for blood coagulation!. It is normally produced by bacteria in the intestines, and dietary deficiency is extremely rare unless the intestines are heavily damaged or are unable to absorb the molecule!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
