it had a short crust like shortbread bottom with jam in the centre and topped with crunchy nut cornflakes and was served with custuard (lumpy custard of course) also miss the sugar dough nuts only because it used to be amusing to try and eat one without licking your lips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wow you guys had/have good desserts at school in the UK I guess!. All we ever had was bulk pudding (like jello pudding!.!.!.I dont know what you would call it in the UK!.!.!.custard maybe!?), or Jello (jelly) but mostly it was canned fruit salad!. My favorite meal was cheese enchiladas!. I wish I had a pan of those right now!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can remember I would be given a square of chocolate caramel, on a hard biscuit base, but smothered in pink custard, sometimes chocolate, and the custard would soften the hard biscuit, melt the chocolate, and let the caramel ooze, yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have two the first is school pizza it was so cheesy and tasted good can't find it nowhere!. The second is this dish they called johny marzeti!. it was a noodle dish it wasn't bad I liked it wish I new how to make it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I miss the spaghetti and the pizzas!. I don't know where they got there pizzas from but they were so good!. They would serve them in rectangle slices, usually cheese, with salad and corn and a cookieWww@FoodAQ@Com

I had two favourite puddings!. One was burnt Marmalade Sponge where the topping was a really bitter orange with lovely sponge and custard!. I also used to like sponge with raisins and syrup on the top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
