Sell by dates on food items?!
Do you always adhere to sell by dates on food, how often have you eat something that is just over the date!? my wife sometimes does this and it really annoys me, on one occasion she ate some eggs after their date and I wanted to throw them away, I never eat anything out of date usually but do you think non-meat items like eggs or milk are okay to have after a day or so when the date has expired your views pleaseWww@FoodAQ@Com

The manufacturers and suppliers don't want to be sued, so I'm sure they give themselves lots of leeway with the dates!. I'd say 99!.9% of things are ok to eat 2 days after the sell by date!.
also, we have a nose that has evolved over millions of years to tell us when something is good or bad to eat!. If it smells ok, it's probably ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Really, there is no problem with eating food after the use by date!. The dates are there as a guide!. But as long as the food is not over by a week or two, you'll be fine!. Personally I don't eat food when its over a day or two over but if you do, it won't kill you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
yeah i think food is ok to eat one-two days after,
it depends what it was, if it was a dairy product i seriously wouldnt take the risk of 1 day+Www@FoodAQ@Com

People who are in the mood of ignorance eat food which has been cooked three hours ago!. So if the dates have expired you must be in the greatest mood of ignorance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
