Answers:
Yes!
Frozen veggies and fruits are said to be the best alternative to fresh produce!. Canned on the other hand, is still o!.k!. since they are vegetables and fruits still but are often not as good for you due the the added ingredients such as sodium, and sugar used to preserve it in the cans!.
Frozen is the way to go!. Nice choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

canned veggies are NOT anywhere near as nutritious, and also taste horrible (except beans)!. Frozen veggies are as nutritious as fresh, although they both should be cooked as little as possible to preserve the nutrients!. You can freeze the liquid from the cooked veggies, and later use that liquid to make soups!.!.!.!.!.!.Frozen fruits are actually more money than fresh, and tend to have alot of extra sugar in them (unless you freeze them yourself!. You can wash whole strawberries, and freeze them on a cookie sheet, then put them into baggies)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Frozen yes!. Canned no!. Canned are really gross too!. Frozen stuff you can still cook a little el dante if you like them that way!. canned things turn color and are soggy I think!. Canned Green vegetables are this nasty dark color where as frozen veggies are the same color as fresh ones!. I freeze fresh berry's which work well for treats throughout the winter but the frozen fruits at the store are usually in a syrupy sauce (yuk!)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends if they're your own fruits or if you buy them!. So, since you're buying them, they're most likely less fresh, but if you get organic, they are usually pretty fresh!.

Canned veggies are bad especially since the cans in which they are in are also bad for your health!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Canned veggies are definitely not healthier and according to the manufacturers, frozen veg is always better because it is frozen in less than a few hours after being harveted!. The freezing retains the nutrients for longer and fresh veg is sat about until it is sold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Healthy,, Nasty word!.!.
Nonsense to me!.!. SO!.!.!!!
At 67 I rarely have fruit except in a turnover!.!.
I have frozen corn green beans and peas & carrots and country hash browns!.!.SO I can make stews!.!.
I would tell you I have never really liked canned vegatables!.!.

Look at it this way Do you know exactly how much Vitamin C or A or B or D,,, "YOU" need today (will that last you the week!?!? maybe) Do you eat a fairly good meals!?!?!?
Then why the concern!?!?
Children starve to death in Africa and hunderds soon will in China ( they are aproaching days without water or food)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Frozen is as good as fresh, they are picked and frozen to stay good!. I would NOT use canned though as they are HIGH in preservatives and sodium and not as good for you as the other choices in this!. Frozen still has their original nutrients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, or even more!. Fresh produce travels alot until it gets to your table and loses its nutrients along the way!. Frozen veggies are flash frozen in season and are the best quality!.
Steam them to retain the most nutrients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

actually!.!.!. frozen veggies are more fresh!.!.!.!.and just as healthy!.!.!. because when the people pick the veggies!.!.!. they seal them!.!.!. and freeze them!. so it stays more fresh!.!.!. for a longer amount of time!. i definatly recomendedit!. =] goodluck!.!.!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not as healthy as fresh, but very close!.!.!.and definitely better than their canned counterparts!Www@FoodAQ@Com
