Stuffed Bell Peppers; would you blanch, steam,or just leave raw before you filled them?!

Question: Stuffed Bell Peppers; would you blanch, steam,or just leave raw before you filled them!?
Answers:
I have prepared over 5 thousand stuffed peppers, blanched, steamed, halved, raw, and every imaginative method in between!.!.!.!.!.!.

My conclusion!?!? It's all a matter of personal taste!.!.!.!.!.!.(this one will kill ya laughing) I'm NOT a big fan of green peppers, but once roasted or baked, the taste, texture, just everything changes so dramatically, I just like using red, yellow or orange peppers, I truely believe that they have a sweeter flavor: the reason for this is that they're the overripe version of green peppers!.!.!.!.!.They have just been left on the vine to further mature!. Sorry, I strayed:

I prefer my peppers raw, then stuffed and baked at a high temperature for 20 minutes, then to reduce the heat and cook them through!.!.!.!.!.!.

Again, it's just a matter of taste!.!.!.!.!.!.I do know that if you try and roast and then steam them, stuffing them is going to be as difficult as trying to get a condom on a flaccid penis!.!.!.!.!.!. ;)

This is one of my favorite things to cook!.!.!.What I do is clean them, stuff them and put them in a glass (Pyrex) baking dish with a small amount of water in the bottom!. Cover them with plastic wrap and cook them in the microwave!. The steam created from the water will help steam the peppers!. I usually rotate the peppers part of the way through cooking so they will cook evenly!. When they are done, simply remove them from the Pyrex dish and transfer them to your serving dish!.!.!.enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wash them, cut off the tops and submerse them in boiling water until they become tender enough to have a fork pierce them!. Don't overcook as they will fall apart!. Then I stuff them with Spanish rice mix and bake in the oven with extra sauce!. Yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just leave them raw!. This way during the cooking process the peppers flavor the stuffing and vise-versa!. I think you loose more flavor and nutrients blaching and steaming!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends on how much time you have, pressed for time!? blanching them will give them a head start!. If your not pressed, just wash and fill and pop in the oven!.
