Question: How long do cheeses like hard swiss and gruyere last in the fridge!?
I am making cheese fondue for dinner and have had these cheeses in the fridge for awhile, they look fine, I was just wondering if they will be okay to use tonight/Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Hard cheese usually has a shelf-live of 12 months!. Check the production date and as long as the cheese has not be opened from its protective cover, it should be ok in the fridge for a long time!. Check for green mold!. You can cut the mold away and still use the cheese for the fondue!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

they should be just as long as you do not see any mold on it but even if you did you can just cut that part off and use the rest!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
