All nut's are high in calories as they are so high in fat!. Fat is the most calorific macronutrient at 9 calories per gram, hence nuts' fattening status!. But the fats in nuts are very good for you, so just consume them in moderation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nuts are one of the best ways to get Omega-3 fatty acids and protein!. It IS a healthy snack, especially compared to chips, cookies etc!. The only thing to look out for is the high salt content, but over-all its a thumbs up! ENJOY!Www@FoodAQ@Com
