I love mangosteen too!. I live in Thailand and they are in season now and there is loads everywhere!.
However my favourite fruit is durien which i have never even seen before i came to Thailand!. It looks like a huge massive green coconut with loads of spike and can weigh 10kg!. It's then skillfully cut open and inside is the most beutiful lumps of flesh!. It actually tastes creamy and buttery and you would believe a fruit can taste like that, It does smell and some hotels wont let you bring them inside!.
