What's the difference between non-iodized salt and picking salt?!

Question: What's the difference between non-iodized salt and picking salt!?
Answers:
I am thinking they are both " Non-iodined" because Iodine is an anti-clumping agent added to the salt!. There is essentially little difference from one type of salt to another!. However, having iodine is the main significant difference as stated above!. But if you have, two or more salts that either have iodine or don't have it!. There will be little difference between them!.
Some will be larger grains than the others, this will enable it to draw moisture out of food easier than the other, so it would find its way into the canning / pickling world!. While see salt, and table salt and even at times kosher salt would find there way to the kitchen / table only because of the texture!. one meal may require salt not be seen so a small grain is best here( table salt), but remember the smaller the grain the more salt you get per teaspoon!.
Another may require larger grains at the last moment so it don't dry out the foods, and yet another could require very large grains so you see there is little differences between them but if a salt does not have iodine it it then it will clump up!.!.!.my pickling salt has done this often to me ( in the container it came in)!.
The main differences are:
1!. Will it clump up!?
2!. What size are the grains!?
But all are doing essentially the exact same thing, larger grain does it faster and smaller grain will allow for more salt per measure ( it packs tighter)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
