OK!. You are not a biologist!. To a biologist, the term "Fruit" has a very specific meaning- of which, containing seeds is definitely a part!. And yes, peppers and cucumbers are both fruit!.
Vegetables refer to any vegetative growth produced by the plant!. !.!.!.Essentially anything not the fruit!.
To the average grocery store customer, a fruit is a sweet thing that is grown on a plant, whereas a vegetable is anything savory!.!.!. A completely different set of definitions!. They're wrong, of course: that tomato IS a fruit!. Peppers and cucumbers are variations on a berry!. (Not all fruit are berries- you have achenes, drupes, etc!.)
Sunflower seeds are actually the fruit!. It is an example of an achene!.
Strawberries are neither fruit nor berries- it is the swollen receptical with multiple achenes attached!.

well carrots are roots and corn isn't a fruit!.!.!.the seeds may not be in the flower of the plant!.!.!.take apples for example they are the 'flower' of the apple tree!. and carrots aren't the flower of the plant(cause they are roots like potatoes) most people concider sweet produce to be fruits!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
