Looking for all-natural cheese without additives brands?!
I'm looking for an all-natural hard/semi-hard cheese (preferably organic, but not totally necessary) without all the "stuff" that seems to be in everything I've looked at!. For example, I like Stonyfield's yogurt because it's just "milk" and "yogurt cultures!." I don't care what kind of cheese it is (american, cheddar, swiss) so long as it stays on crackers!. Something that's just "milk" "enzymes" "salt" and normal stuff (carageenan, guar gum and annatto color are not normal to me)!. I'd by very happy with any suggestions for regular fat ones and/or non/low fat ones!. Thanks !Www@FoodAQ@Com

For hard and semi-hard cheeses, try Tillamook!. Some of the European imports (Jarlsberg is a favorite of mine) are pretty pure!. Cheddar cheese is the color it is because coloring has been added!. Stay away from Cheddar if you don't want the color!. Guar gum and annatto color are natural ingredients!. They are not chemically created or altered!. An all-natural cheese may well include things like that and still be completely natural!.
If you have a Trader Joe's store anywhere near you (1-800-SHOPTJS for a store locator) ry their cheeses!. They do pretty well at having natural ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
